Let’s Take 5 with Tina

What is one piece of advice you’d give to your first-year-in-business self?

Embrace the imbalance. Trying to achieve balance only sets you up to fail. Instead, learn to be where you are and be great right there.

What is your favorite app or tool?

I sure like Pandora. My channels range from Melody Gardo to 80’s hair bands, from Michael Jackson to Ocean Waves.

What is one mistake you’ve made that you’ve learned from?

Just because you are a leader doesn’t mean that you are always good at it.

If they made a movie of your life, who would you want to play you?

I asked my husband this question and he laughed and said Tina Fey. And then he stopped and said with some seriousness, “Wait, or it should be Sophia Vergara. She could be my wife.” I’m going with Tina Fey!

What’s one thing you wish more women entrepreneurs knew?

We should either stop complaining or be a part of the solution…this goes for our relationships, our community, our businesses, our everything.
