Johna Cripe is the owner/partner of Harmony Senior Relocation Services. After orchestrating the downsizing move for her in-laws (they “vacationed” at her home while she set-up/decorated their new home), Johna realized that other seniors might also welcome assistance with their own transition.
And with that, Harmony was born.
Johna has 25+ years of project management experience and is well equipped to orchestrate downsizing and moving transitions.

What is one piece of advice you’d give to your first-year-in-business self?
Keep moving forward. It’s probably going to take longer and be harder than you expect. But the satisfaction of your success and what you build is well worth it.

What is one mistake you’ve made that you’ve learned from?
I’ve made mistakes with clients. It happens, despite our best efforts. But how you respond and take action to correct the mistake will demonstrate your character and integrity. And this may even go further to impress your clients than if everything went perfectly.
If they made a movie of your life, who would you want to play you?
Eek! That’s a hard one.
What’s one thing you wish more women entrepreneurs knew?
For new entrepreneurs, owning your own business doesn’t always mean “freedom.” Often your clients/jobs still dictate your schedule. But it’s knowing you are building your own business and your own success that sets you free.
