Kendrea Williams is an IUPUI SLA alum, who studied African American History and minored in Communication Arts. She loves reading historical literature in addition to visiting historical plantation sites and monuments.

What is one piece of advice you’d give to your first-year-in-business self?
I would have made sure that I connected with a mentor in addition to an accountability partner.
What is your favorite app or tool?
Hootsuite! It allows me to utilize multiple social media sites and platforms, using one sign-in and having to remember only one password.
What is one mistake you’ve made that you’ve learned from?
Putting together a team of individuals who were all committed to the mission, and wanted to see the mission move forward.

What’s one thing you wish more women entrepreneurs knew?
We no longer need permission to kick ass!!!
